A Tuesday Afternoon/Evening is normally a pretty dull, but the Horse Racing looked to change that as normal. A flat meeting at Nottingham during the day before Evening National Hunt Racing at Huntingdon and Hexham contained the days Tips.
Nottingham 15:00 – 2m Handicap (Class 5)
We started the day with the NAP, Coeur de Lion, in a Two Mile Flat Race around the Nottinghamshire track. Drawn in Stall 2, the NAP slotted in-behind the pace setter on the inside running rail, and needed to put in some work to catch the better travelling Mccools Gold on the turn for home. Alan King’s 1-2 would eventually turn the way of our selection, as Coeur de Lion battled on to win in workmanlike fashion, eventually coming away with a 3 length victory.
Coeur de Lion (NAP) – Tipped @ 11/10, went off @ 1/1.

Huntingdon 18:05 – 1m 7f 171y Handicap Hurdle (Class 5)
Next up came Lake Chapala, bidding to land the Daily Double. The Chris Gordon charge had never won over Hurdles in 21 attempts before today, however his form over fences was very good, winning on his last two starts. The troublesome Gelding slotted into midfield and traveled extremely well before making headway leaving the back-straight, moving through to lead over the last. Lake Chapala stayed on well on the run-in and was ridden out to a 3¾ victory to bring home the Daily Double.
Lake Chapala (Win Double) – Double Tipped @ 8/1, Paid @ 8.45/1 with Best Odds Guaranteed.
£10 Returned £94.50!💷
Hexham 19:15 – 2m 4f 15y Novices’ Handicap Chase (Class 5)
The last Tip of the Day was on the NB No Such Number. The Dale Irving ridden charge looked a mismatch with the field on paper, winning over CD last time out and having already raced in 10 Chase races. This turned out to be exactly how the race panned out for No Such Number, with the middle distance chaser tracking the long time leader before bolting off after the second last, and easily going on to score by 13 lengths.
No Such Number (NB) – Tipped @ 5/2, went off @ 6/4.
£10 Returned £35!💷
Three brilliant Winners out of three in the end, which would’ve paid out as a 32/1 Treble.
Manchester Terror Attack – Please help by donating
So not such an ordinary Tuesday after-all, however this was overshadowed by the deeply saddening terror attack in Manchester the night before. If you did win any money on my tips, or any other tips for that matter, then I urge you to donate a small proportion towards supporting the families directly involved in the tragic incident. #StandTogether
