Royal Ascot 2020 – Day Five

Day 4 of the Royal Ascot meeting saw us record a third successive day of profit, with Art Power winning the opener impressively, and Golden Horde landing the feature Commonwealth Cup in fine style. That left us +3.48pts on the day, and +20.47pts over the past three days. Fingers crossed we can keep the P/L increasing on Day 5, which features three Group 1 races; the Coronation Stakes, St James’s Palace Stakes, and Diamond Jubilee Stakes. Best of luck if you’re getting involved, and be sure to give me a follow on Twitter @JakePriceRacing for updates throughout the day, and where I will share links to any future articles. Before we get into the selections, thanks for all your support so far this week – let’s hope we can end on a high!

Royal Ascot 2020 – Day Four

Day 3 of the Royal Ascot meeting saw us once again finish in profit, mostly thanks to Molatham winning the Group 3 Jersey Stakes under the in-form Jim Crowley. That left us +3.29pts on the day, and +16.99pts over the past two days. Fingers crossed we can keep the P/L ticking over on Day 4, which features a host of Group action such as the Hardwicke Stakes and Commonwealth Cup. Best of luck if you’re getting involved, and be sure to give me a follow on Twitter @JakePriceRacing for updates throughout the day, including a link to the Day 5 Preview once it goes live!

Royal Ascot 2020 – Day Three

Day 2 of the Royal Ascot meeting saw us finish with a bang; firstly Tactical (13/2) landed a gamble to give The Queen a win in the Windsor Castle Stakes, before Fujaira Prince (9/2) then bolted up in the Copper Horse Handicap. That left us +13.7pts on the day! Fingers crossed we can pick up on Day 3 where we left off, to continue the good run of form. Best of luck if you’re getting involved, and be sure to give me a follow on Twitter @JakePriceRacing for updates throughout the day, including a link to the Day 4 Preview once it goes live!

Royal Ascot 2020 – Day Two

Despite the uncertain times we have been living in recently, Royal Ascot will be the first major Festival to take place this week since lock-down restrictions were eased. It clearly won’t be Royal Ascot as we know it, with racing taking place behind closed doors, and no Royals in sight. As I said yesterday however, that’s a small price to pay to get racing back underway. Day 1 was a mixed day for the page with Frankly Darling winning at short odds, but fingers crossed we can be rewarded with a few more winners on Wednesday. Best of luck if you’re getting involved, and be sure to give me a follow on Twitter @JakePriceRacing for updates throughout the day, including a link to the Day 3 Preview once it goes live!

Royal Ascot 2020 – Day One

Despite the uncertain times we have been living in recently, Royal Ascot will be the first major Festival to take place this week since lock-down restrictions were eased. It clearly won’t be Royal Ascot as we know it, with racing taking place behind closed doors, and no Royals in sight. That’s a small price to pay to get racing back underway however, and I can’t wait for the action to get started. I’ll be the first to admit that it hasn’t been the best of starts to the season for this page, but many hours of hard work have gone into this Preview, so fingers crossed we can be rewarded with a few winners. Best of luck if you’re getting involved, and be sure to give me a follow on Twitter @JakePriceRacing for updates throughout the day, including a link to the Day 2 Preview once it goes live!

Royal Ascot 2019 – Day 3 Preview

Rain has been the theme of the Summer so far, and racegoers received another down-pour on Day 2 of Royal Ascot. With the ground still Soft it’s crucial to find horses which have form on the going. The feature race on Day 3 is the Group 1 Ascot Gold Cup, with some brilliant supporting races such as the Group 2 Norfolk Stakes for two-year-olds. Despite my best efforts Royal Ascot really hasn’t gone to plan for me so far, but fingers crossed we can turn the tide today with some stronger selections.

Royal Ascot 2019 – Day 2 Preview

The rain fell heavily on Day 1 of Royal Ascot, with the ground now reduced to Soft across the whole course. We’re set for another top day of Flat Racing action however despite conditions, with the feature race being the Group 1 Prince Of Wales’s Stakes at an earlier time than normal of 15:40. I’ll be following the action over @JakePriceRacing throughout the Day as usual, so fingers crossed we can get a bit more luck on Day 2…

Royal Ascot 2019 – Day 1 Preview

The 2019 Royal Ascot Festival has finally arrived, and we kick off the five-day bonanza with arguably the best day of them all. We’re treated to three Group 1 contests on Day 1; the curtain raising Queen Anne Stakes, the King’s Stand Stakes sprint and the St James’s Palace Stakes for three-year-olds. Unfortunately I won’t be attending Ascot this year, but I will be providing live updates throughout the day on my twitter account @JakePriceRacing as usual. I hope you all have a successful Royal Ascot!
